Why should I attend?

BE-ST Fest showcases best practice, new solutions, hands-on training, emerging opportunities and much more.

Our events provide the opportunity to be part of the exciting journey to accelerate to zero carbon, to speak with influential members of the built environment to exchange knowledge to help us all break through the challenges and adopt solutions to help reach net zero.

When is BE-ST Fest?

The Festival takes place throughout the months of September, October and November.

  • The Summit and Exhibition are from 09:30-16:00 on Wednesday 6th November at the Paisley Town Hall.

  • The International Retrofit Conference is on Thursday 7th November at the Paisley Town Hall from 09:30-16:00.

  • The A-Z Awards is at 18:00 on Thursday 7th November at Platform in Glasgow.

Fringe events are taking place at various dates all over the UK and beyond, refer to the Fringe events listings for details of each one.

How do I get there?

The venue has a premier location right in the heart of Paisley town, with various local amenities on our doorstep. It is served by the M8 motorway, just a 20 minute drive from Glasgow City Centre and 8 minutes from Glasgow Airport. Train and bus links are excellent, with Paisley Gilmour Street station just a 5 minute walk away.

How do I book?

Visitors must book a space in advance using the links found on each of the events’ web pages.

How much does it cost?

All events and tours are completely free. Spaces are limited so book your places ASAP!

Will lunch be provided?

Yes!

Can the events be joined virtually?

The Summit, Awards and International Retrofit Conference are in-person events only although some of the content will be available online afterwards. Follow us on social media and visit our website to find out more. Please refer to each fringe event individually for details of accessibility.

Use of photography and videography

By attending a BE-ST event, ticket holders consent to be filmed, photographed and recorded as members of the audience. The resulting film footage, images and recordings may be used to promote BE-ST and its activities in print, in the media and online. If you do not wish to be filmed, photographed and recorded please notify a member of staff on arrival at the event.
