Healthy Working People: Shaping Scotland’s Future

Explore how employers can drive healthier, fairer workplaces at this interactive online session focusing on Prosper’s Healthy Working People report.

Join us for an interactive session exploring Prosper’s Healthy Working People report, and the progress made one year on from the new UK Government.

Dr Sophie Brett, Policy Manager at Prosper, will share the report’s recommendations and highlight how employers can help improve workplace health and wellbeing.

We know there are significant labour market challenges across the UK with issues such as increasing levels of economic inactivity, absenteeism and presenteeism in the workplace, absence due to long-term sickness, along with recruitment and retention of employees, and systemic issues such as the gender, disability and ethnic pay gaps.

Good health is vital to Scotland’s economic success, and employers play a key role in shaping inclusive, healthy workplaces.

We believe that Scotland has the potential to lead the way, with lessons relevant across the UK. This work calls for bold, collaborative action between employers, business, government, and people.
