We all strive to create liveable cities where people thrive, prosper, and feel included. But how do we develop cities where everyone sees their priorities recognised in the built and natural environments they call home? How can we turn this vision into reality?
The Liveable City’s opening seminar will explore the process of transforming aspirations into tangible action. Drawing from recent transformations in Danish and Scottish cities, the session will highlight how urban planners and policymakers are bridging the gap between vision and implementation. Examples of successful project proposals that have driven economic development and attracted investment will be showcased, along with strategies for drawing in landmark projects and early adopters.
Speakers include:
Rene Dinesen, Ambassador, Royal Danish Embassy in London
